funny wedding stuff

hee hee, this is a sentence from an article I happened to read about wedding planning on the internet. It goes like this, "Your wedding is a show - this is show business. This may sound crass or insensitive but let's get real. Your obligation is to put on a show that impresses the women, period. Forget about the fathers, the brothers, the uncles, the male business associates invited - plan your wedding specifically for the women planned to be in attendance. Give the women a good show and your wedding will be a success, guaranteed."

Isn't that horrible and weird???

yeah, pretty sure a wedding is a "success" if and only if the marriage is. given that definition, i'm sure you and adrian will have a successful wedding! =) ~ amy

Gilmore Girls...gone is my respect:( Tonight's season finale hurt my heart. Talk about 'putting on a show'-the producers are creating senseless complications in an effort to make stuff happen. THe show was gliding along just fine- it was charming, witty, and hilarious. Now it is contrived, moody, and just plain disappointing...I had to vent:) Thank you for reading:)

sigh, I haven't watched the finale yet, but you are so right about Gilmore Girls. I think it's sad that the greatness of the show was not able to sustain. I hate that now it has become a soap opera of sorts. In seasons 1, 2, and 3, yes, there were some conflicts and complications, but they were real-life issues. I love how in the past there would be shows that would just be about some aspect of daily life in Stars Hollow - now it seems like they feel every show needs to end on some unresolved issue. :(
